Updates! (It's a long one!)


1. Dance
So i had dance lesson on Monday, 18th August. I thought i was rather behind time but Marcus, my second and current techniques dance instructor, was late. He didn't come until 1130am or so, and therefore, every Mondays, dance will commence at 1130am for the rest of the holidays =)
We had choreography sessions for Zaini's (first instructor) class later on after having techniques session with Marcus. Saw Zaini only that day for dance due to him being rather too busy lately that he only had an hour or less with us. He's responsible for the choreography for the annual dance performance.
So this year, there will be this 15 mins dance showcase, which everyone (or almost everyone), will be dancing. Role casting will be held on the 28th August or 1st September.
And that's one reason why i have to buck up.
Need to practice and focus in the lesson.
Zaini taught us combination B, and the second part of B's steps is rather complex and i found the jumping up and away rather tricky. Need to touch up on that.
Great at least that Marcus hasn't been teaching new steps.
(leaves us free for Zaini's combinations to touch up on)
Marcus' techniques lesson is really helpful.
Lately, i find myself improving in terms of chaines (sha ney) and spotting.
But it is still a headache -.- But i guess it gets better with more practice.
Need to work on balance and turns and jumpings =O

I just hope i get through the casting fine. I really just need to work on B2, which i will today. Need to check my lines (the proper body or posture alignment for the steps) too.

2. Isaac's birthday celebration (18th August 2008)

Just as i said in my previous entry, it's my baby brother's first year birthday!
It was held at Costa Sands Pasir Ris chalet, by the park. After dance, went to bugis and got Isaac's birthday present (two Fox kids' shirt), then got home and freshened up. Met up with Shenath at the bus stop near my house and we walked to the chalet. Reached there in 20mins cos mum got us to buy drinks and disposable cutleries.
No one was there at the chalet except for Tita Asil and her children.
It seemed rather boring but manage to find some things to do, like putting up decorations.
Shenath was a great help and mum seemed to be rather better off with him already.
They even took a photo together! (both of them similiar, so unphotogenic)

Isaac was looking regal in his red birthday outfit.
And i do feel he knew it was a special day for him because he was really happy and he didn't slept at all, despite having certain sleeping hours for him.
I believe he stayed up even after shenath and i excused ourselves from the chalet.
Ana said he only slept at 3am. Gosh!
So anyway, the girls (ling and nurul) came with their other halfs only reaching later on.
Am unsure about the timings here and there cos i wasn't doing any form of time checking, except when people called me for directions.
At about 10pm, shenath and i bought more drinks and fetched Fred and Rose (my Teasire 'kabayan' colleagues)
Headed back and ended up watching Heroes when everyone started bidding adieu.
Only rose, fred, shenath, me, my parents and the kids are left.

Later on as it reached midnight,  Shenath and i left with Rose and Fred.
Headed off to bond =)
It was great. Hehe :D
The night was great and he's great....

Until it came to the decision if we are joining ling and jeremy for drinking session!
Well we did.

3.Drinking Madness
It was a No. 7 Jack Daniels that got us intoxicated throughout the night. Four of us drived to Toa Payoh first to get Jeremy's ciggarettes and the worst thing was that, mei ling was the driver.
Okay, maybe not 'worst', let's use, 'scary'.
All for the fact that she was just learning, and she drove us from Pasir Ris to Toa Payoh, also because she doesn't have license! haha
Ugh... If she got caught, omg.
So we ended up back at Pasir ris, parked at the top most level of the HDB carpark, we started the drinking session.
By 5am, we were all intoxicated at different levels.
I, being the one who rushes my drinks, was at the highest.
I saw this dude on the ledge of the carpark and i got all tensed up because he might be suicidal or something.
Then maybe, i was just drunk.
Still bothers me though.
At 5plus, we changed location - at the carpark just opposite my blk.
Then that's where the police came.
Yes, police.
They screened us cos they received a complain from the neighbours, crazy shit.
We were clear on the records anyway, so didn't have much trouble =)
Just that, i was drunk and Shenath said i was all smiley about everything.
I remembered having to be told to shit down by the bf, over and over again.
That's when the drinking session ended.
After the police came, i guess we headed off.
I was drunk, Shenath sent me back. (thank GOD i have him)


4. Aftermath of drinking
I never had such a night of drinking that i was in daze and being in a drunken stupor, i only remembered vomitting my life out. I vomitted galons the whole day of yesterday!
I in a major hangover, slept the whole day of 19th August 2008.
Only got up by 9pm and met shenath at around 1030pm to have dinner, which i didn't end up eating!
Vomited again and the feeling sucks.
Which is why, i really ain't going to drink madly like i did last two days. Never again!
I promise myself that.
It's really nice of Shenath to really tc of me well.

Okay, to end off, Ling and jeremy got into a minor accident.
Got ling into a little bit of bad shape with her forehead knocked hard and her arms and legs all got bruised up.
But she's fine, it was just a minor injury. Phews..
Or jeremy would be cursed if anything happened to ling.

Gtg, getting dizzy. Am still recovering from the hangover !
